Design and development of the Street & Steel® Kickstarter 2 Riding Shoe, an updated model following its predecessor, which had a 10-year market presence. This new design aimed to capture a classic style tailored to Harley and V-Twin riders, blending timeless aesthetics with modern safety features. Key elements include Axial® Visco Elastic Foam for enhanced ankle protection, perforated quarter panels, and a breathable tongue to improve airflow. For added functionality, the design incorporates an integrated reflective element at the heel for night visibility, a lace pocket at tongue to hide laces for additional safety, and a custom outsole which utilizes the S&S diamond logo as a tread pattern to enhance grip and stability.
