As a Native American and second-generation individual off the reservation, my contemporary work focuses on exploring the connections between my heritage, American identity, and creative interests. I incorporate tribal motifs, patterns, and symbols inspired by ancient art to create designs that bring elements of the past into a modern context. Music is a big part of my process. Genres like Float House, Indie R&B, Jazz, and Underground HipHop inspire how I approach composition, using rhythm and flow to guide the movement and energy in my pieces. This collection reflects my perspective on tradition and modern life, blending cultural influences with personal experiences. It’s a way to celebrate my heritage and invite others to explore the relationships between history, music, and design in a way that feels fresh and meaningful.
