I was involved in the construction design and responsible for the graphics on the 2016 USA Olympic BMX jerseys. For the jerseys, it was designed to address the intense Rio heat, form fitting to reduce drag, with strategically placed mesh panels for enhanced breathability with a unique seam binding construction. In collaboration on the pants design, I was responsible for the art, design enhancements, contributed to the material selection and construction design. The pants featured a pre-bent, articulated design to reduce restrictions and support the full range of movement required in BMX riding. Seeing Team USA secure both gold and silver medals made this project even more rewarding than it already was.
